What is the Team William 5K?

I began the 5K last year as a way to expand Team William to a larger scale. It is a 3.1 mile run/walk being held at Edwin Warner Park on April 3, 2010 @ 9 a.m. All proceeds of the race are contributed to the Team William Endowment. This endowment provides scholarships for children with Down syndrome to attend the Vanderbilt Kennedy Center Reading Clinic. Each participant has the opportunity to make a donation to Team William as a part of their participation in the event. Participants will receive a t-shirt as a part of their registration, and the shirts are also available for purchase.
